SPEAKER Sue Forde
Sue’s new member introductory talk included her early life in Waipukurau. In 1967 Sue married and moved to Taihape and became a farmers wife, the couple had three children. After her divorce in 1984, Sue became an assistant librarian in Masterton.
In 1989 Sue changed roles to council secretary for Masterton District Council, and in 1991 Sue became the Palmerston North Council Committee secretary.
In 1999 Sue married Dr Bernard Forde they worked together and travelled extensively until 2011 when Bernard was diagnosed with dementia. Sue gave up her job to care for Bernard until his death in 2018.
Several years ago Sue purchased a cousins house in Te Mata Peak Road. This year she moved into her new home and returned to Hawkes Bay.

Once this is done, email Stephen Randal at firstname.lastname@example.org and advise him of the change. Note: most duties require attendance at 5.30pm. Your duty may involve the use of equipment; you must put it away at the end of the meeting.
