Carnival Day 10th October
To: Rotarians & Friends of Rotary, Havelock North Rotary Club have been asked to act as road closure guides in Havelock North Village while this year’s Carnival is happening (8am to 3pm). I think it best if we divide the Guard times into
(A) 8am until 11.30am
(B) 11.30am until 3pm
(C) 8am until 3pm.
Please advise Gerry Townsend which time section you will be available to cover and he will allocate the Road Closure position that you will be allocated to. It would be great if we can have 2 people at each road block to help the time pass quickly!! Gerry Townsend Mob: 0274333835 Landline: 8770017 email: email@example.com.
The trailer raffle will also be running on the day of the Carnival, please let David Smith or Jessica Duffy know if you are able to help out with the Raffle.
PARTING THOUGHT – N/A
Please note these arrangements: If you are rostered on for duty but find you are unavailable it is your responsibility to arrange a replacement for yourself. Once this is done, email Stephen Randal at firstname.lastname@example.org and advise him of the change.

Firstly apologies for no bulletin last week. I have been away in the both the South Island and in Rotorua over the past week, without access to my usual computer. If you would like impressions of the candidates please ask members who attended the Meet the candidates night.
Wow, NZ is such an amazing place. Went on the Tranzalpine last Monday which luckily opened two days prior to our booking and we had snowfall at Arthur’s Pass in both directions. Wonderful for us North Islanders who very rarely see or experience snow to actually be amongst the falling snow.
Then I spent the weekend with a group of ladies in Rotorua, we spent a couple of hours mountain biking in the Rotorua Mountain Bike Park and this was incredible. That’s me second from the left.
The opinions expressed in this Bulletin are not necessarily those of the President or Directors or of members of the Rotary Club of Havelock North Inc.
