The next meeting is 5.30 pm on Monday 12th July at the Havelock North Function Centre, arriving from 5.30 pm and being seated at 6.00 pm.
Sergeant’s session: $75.30
Two-minute talk: Immediate Past President Trish Giddens acknowledged the support she received from Club members during her role as President in the past year, acknowledging was very relaxing to attend a meeting without that former role, but wished President Lyn every success for the ensuing year, and promised her support to him.
There was no guest speaker this evening as President Lyn wished to use the time to discuss plans for the ensuing year. He took the opportunity to remind Club members that while he envisaged that subsequent meeting format will remain as they have been but sought members’ acknowledgment that the 2-minute speaker should stay within that time limit and the Sergeants Session to remain at 10 minutes. At some stages in the year, meetings could include quiz sessions which would be entertaining. He advised that this meeting would be broken into committee groups to enable the committees to discuss their plans for the year.
When it came to projects, Lyn discussed the following:
The need to remember the health and welfare needs of our own members and to reach out and socialize with other Rotary Clubs.
Following President Lyn’s comments, members reorganized themselves into committee groups to commence discussions on the role and plans for their ensuring year.

Hopefully, this bulletin meets the needs of all of our members, I have found the adventure of entering through my computer into the new electronics, quite frightening. My thanks go to Dave for his patience and support.
The opinions expressed in this Bulletin are not necessarily those of the President or Directors or of members of the Rotary Club of Havelock North Inc.
