Anne (pictured above) regaled us with stories and photos of a variety of foot problems from corns, veruccas, fungal infections to diabetes foot neuriopathy. Anne trained at CIT Lower Hutt, currently 300 podiatrists in NZ, more needed so many here from UK and South Africa.

Anne’s first clinic was in Otaki where she treated children, athletes, ballet dancers and now in HB,  prisoners at HB prison where 1 in 3 have problems, from club feet to diabetes. Her advice with fungal feet infections was to get a proper diagnosis from a Podiatrist so treatment is suitable.

Editor’s piece
We arrived home tonight after a three week trip around the South Island. Stunning scenery, great weather and so many beautiful places to visit. On Friday we visited Transport World In Invercargill, This was an amazing place which I am sure all of you would enjoy. Not something I would usually go to but I loved it, with over 150 restored vehicles it is a really impressive visit. Friday night we stayed at Lanarch Castle in the lodge and had dinner in the Castle which was a treat.
