TWO MINUTE TALK: Pasquale spoke on the state of residential building in NZ at the moment. There have been over 49,000 consents granted this year, 25% more than last year. Timber prices and supply delays have added about 17% more to housing costs, but is not all doom and gloom!
SERGEANT SESSION: Ian Holford managed to extract lots of money from almost every member and a few guests as well. $67.50 was collected
GUEST SPEAKERS: Sue and John Pol1ard (replacing programmed speaker Cristina Sanders who is rescheduled for 26 September) Sue and John spoke to the club on their 2019 trip to Sudan. They found the people very friendly and at no time did they feel unsafe.

Auction of Forgotten Highway rail trip: Kevin Longman conducted the auction and won by Wendy Spackman.
